VITA I was born in London in 1961, but grew up in Southend-on-Sea, a small town by the sea in the county of Essex. At first, I contemplated a carreer in singing. But at the age of 14 I discovered golf and from this moment I could only think about this sport. Consequently, I started and successfully completed the PGA Apprenticeship programm from 1978 to 1981 at Moor Park Golf Club Rickmansworth Hertfordshire, England, followed by a one-year stay at Kilarney Golf and Fishing Club in Ireland. Soon after the completion of my training I realised that my true passion and vocation is to teach. It gives me a lot of pleasure to follow and further the progress of my students. And so the next step in my professional career took me to Austria, where I was working as teaching professional at Golf Club Linz St. Florian for the next three years. And from Austria it is not far to Germany. At Golf Club Erding Grünbach e.V. by Munich I was able to demonstrate my organisational skills for the next seven years (1985 to 1992) and also at the nearby Golf Club Ebersberg my abilities were required. In 1996, I decided to strike a new path. I left Germany to take over the Golf Academy at Parque da Floresta and Leisure Resort, situated in the portuguese Algarve. At the same time I worked closely with the Romantik Hotel Vivenda Miranda in Lagos. In the spring of 2006 I returned to Germany. Love led me back. Since then I am working as a golf professional at KOSAIDO International Golf Club. However, Portugal with its pleasant climate and marvellous food still attracts me. Thus, in the winter-time you will regularly find me on the west coast of this beautiful country, where I attend to the guest of golf holidays and regular clientele.   Please click here for seeing my vita in pictures.
